TiviMate is the favourite IPTV player of Fire TV Stick owners because it looks and feels like cable TV. This guide explains how to install it and add your IPTV subscription in about 10 minutes.
What you need
- An Amazon Fire TV Stick (a 4K model is recommended)
- A stable internet connection (25 Mbps or more for 4K)
- Your IPTV login details (server URL, username and password), received after your order
Step 1: Allow apps from unknown sources
- On the Fire TV home screen, open Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options.
- If Developer options is hidden, open About and click the device name 7 times.
- Turn on Install unknown apps for the Downloader app (install Downloader from the Amazon Appstore first).
Step 2: Install TiviMate
- Open Downloader and enter the official TiviMate download address or the Downloader code provided on our TiviMate page.
- Install the APK, then open TiviMate.
Step 3: Add your IPTV subscription
- In TiviMate, choose Add playlist → Xtream Codes login.
- Enter the server URL, username and password from your activation message.
- Name the playlist and confirm. TiviMate loads your channels, movies and series.
Step 4: Load the EPG guide
Most subscriptions include the EPG automatically with Xtream Codes. If the grid is empty, go to Settings → EPG and refresh. Catch Up is available on supported channels (look for the clock icon).
Tips for a smooth picture
- Use a wired connection or the 5 GHz Wi-Fi band.
- Restart the Fire TV Stick once a week.
- If a channel freezes, switch the stream quality to HD.
